Povestile copilariei - Turtita rumenita

Cautand zilele trecute povesti potrivite pentru copii de 2-4 ani, am gasit acest diafilm pe YouTube. Mi-a adus aminte cu cata emotie si nerabdare asteptam sa se faca seara, sa ne citeasca mama cate un diafilm.
Diafilmele sau filmele de diapozitive ce constau in transpunerea unor imagini color sau alb negru pe filme fotografice cu intentia de a fi proiectate pe suprafete netede, in cazul nostru pe zidurile de la dormitoare sau la gradinita :) Imaginile statice, neintegrate intr-un astfel de film se numeau diapozitive. Ele erau in general menite sa ilustreze mici tutoriale sau povesti animate. Proiectorul de diafilme este considerat precursorul videoproiectoarelor de astazi.Cine se mai uita la asa ceva? Poate doar cativa parinti nostalgici. Noroc ca avem si alte modalitati de a vedea acele diafilme create de studioul cinematografic Animafilm. De mentionat este insa faptul ca eu imi amintesc mai bine varianta din limba maghiara, pe care ne-o spunea bunica inainte de culcare, Dumnezeu s-o odihneasca in pace.

How to raise multilingual children?

This is a good question and there are several opinions. 

Multilingualism can be an option for some families. But for other families multilingualism is just a way of living and it comes naturally.
The most important thing, from my point of view, is to expose children as much as possible to the languages you want to teach them. Something like learning by immersion. Nowadays it´s easier then ever. There are lots of YouTube videos where you can enjoy together songs, movies, animations, music. You can also find bilingual books in the libraries or order them over the internet. Find some friends that share the same interests.
The truth is, you raise a bilingual or multilingual baby the same way as a monolingual baby -- you talk to them!
